From M4 J12, take the A4 towards Reading for two miles. After passing Horncastle Ford on your right, turn right at the second set of traffic lights (beside George & Dragon Pub) towards Burghfield. Follow the Burghfield Road for about 1 mile; go over humped-back canal bridge (traffic light controlled), and the Cunning Man is immediately on your right.

Park at the rear of the car park - the landing stage is through the gate.
