General
Southcote Moorings are owned by British Waterways and managed under lease by Kennet Cruises. The moorings consist of the offside bank downstream of Burghfield Island (Southcote Main Line), the layby on Burghfield Island and 25m adjacent to the Car Park. The Car Park is for the shared use of British Waterways' staff, members of the Burghfield Island Boat Club, Southcote Moorings Permit Holders and period-hire customers of Kennet Cruises.

We provide serviced and unserviced moorings. The serviced moorings have their own metered electric point and a shared water point. Payment is due on commencement of the mooring period.
Standard charges will be revised annually with effect from 1 January and will apply to all new and renewal permits during the course of the year. Annual mooring periods commencing after 1 July will be initially for 6 months at half the annual rate or by Standing Order for 6 months.
