Frank Hinman is one of the most well known urology surgeons in the United States. He was trained by his father, who was the first trained urologist in California. He was educated in public schools and graduated from Stanford University. He then went on to complete his MD at Johns Hopkins Medical School in Baltimore. He then remained in Baltimore to complete his internships.
Dr. Hinman has been a member of the American Society for Urological Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has also served as the Past Chair of the National Institutes of Health’s study section on urologic disease and is a primary author of more than 300 research papers.
